Financial and Insurance policy
At Hello Community Health, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality care in a way that prioritizes your well-being and respects your time. We understand that navigating the healthcare system, especially in the realm of mental health, can be complex and sometimes overwhelming. That’s why we have designed our financial policy with simplicity and transparency at its core, ensuring you can focus on what truly matters—your health.
Our Fees
As of May 1st, 2024, our service fees are structured as follows:
• Initial Psychiatric Evaluation: $475
• Follow-Up Appointments: $225
• Individual Therapy Sessions: $300
• Group Therapy Sessions: Pricing varies
The Benefits of Private-Pay
Private-pay with Hello Community Health offers you several important benefits. Without the constraints imposed by insurance networks, we are able to tailor our care specifically to your unique needs, without the restrictions and delays often associated with insurance approvals. This means you have direct access to our services when you need them most, and we can work together to develop a treatment plan that truly reflects your personal goals and preferences.
Auto-Payment
To ensure a streamlined process, we require that a valid credit/debit/HSA/FSA card be provided before your first appointment. Rest assured, your information is stored securely on an encrypted platform, adhering to all privacy and security regulations. Your card will be automatically charged after each appointment, allowing your appointment to focus solely on your care.
Insurance Reimbursement
While we do not accept insurance directly, we can assist you in submitting claims to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Many of our clients successfully use their out-of-network benefits to offset the cost of our services. We encourage you to check your insurance benefits and coverage prior to your appointment to understand what may be reimbursable.
If you would like to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier, we provide a superbill— a detailed receipt of services rendered —upon request. A superbill includes essential information such as:
• Your diagnosis (ICD-10 codes)
• The services provided (CPT codes)
• The date(s) of service
• The fees charged for each service
• Provider information and credentials
You can submit this superbill directly to your insurance company for reimbursement if your plan offers out-of-network benefits. Many insurance plans, particularly PPOs, will consider these claims. To determine whether your insurance plan offers out-of-network reimbursement, you can contact your carrier and provide them with the following CPT codes:
• Initial evaluations: 99205 or 90792
• Follow-up appointments: 99214
• Therapy sessions: 90834 or 90837
It is important to note that reimbursement rates and eligibility vary by plan, and submitting a superbill does not guarantee payment from your insurance provider. We encourage you to verify your benefits and coverage with your insurance company before beginning treatment.
Sliding Scale
We believe that everyone deserves access to mental health care, regardless of their financial situation. To support this belief, we offer a sliding scale for our services based on your income and financial needs. This means that your fees may be adjusted according to your ability to pay, ensuring that you can receive the care you need without undue financial burden. To inquire about our current sliding scale, please contact us before your first appointment. Our team will work with you to find a fee that is manageable within your budget.
Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly request that you do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee of $100. We recognize that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we are always willing to discuss waiving this fee when necessary.
Commitment to Transparency
Our goal is to make your experience with us as seamless and supportive as possible. If you have any questions or concerns about our financial policies or your payment responsibilities, please do not hesitate to email for questions, or clarification. We are here to help and are committed to working with you to ensure that your financial concerns do not become a barrier to receiving the care you need.
